Aliento Chamber Players, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization serving the public with a variety of music programs founded on these purposes:
- To organize a concert series beginning in New Hampshire then extending elsewhere, to
perform a broad variety of chamber music and to educate the public about the chamber music
performed.
- Organize supplementary performances to reach children at the grammar school level
regarding instrumental performance, in an outreach intended to introduce young children to the
joy of making music and listening to music. These performances will showcase specific
instruments and encourage dialogue between the performers and audiences, and allow children the
opportunity to touch and play the instruments after the performance, to give them a chance to
begin a lifelong love of the performing arts.
- Organize music performances to reach broader audiences such as the elderly or infirm, or those who are physically limited in their access to experiencing live concert music. The venues for the music performances include hospice centers, aging care facilities, hospitals, correctional facilities, and other public institutions. Aliento Chamber Players, Inc. believes that music has an intrinsic therapeutic value that can aid recuperation to the infirm, provide solace to those who are in the process of dying, and give new hope to those who are paying their debts to society.
The overarching mission of Aliento Chamber Players, Inc. is to enrich the Southern New Hampshire area with the
gift of music as a powerful source of inspiration, education, personal growth, healing and strength.
